Rick Olson

Rick has a BA Degree in Recreation Administration.  He has close to 15 years organizing and running summer recreation programs for children for the Cities of Port Alberni and Grande Prairie. This includes day camps, residential camps, summer adventure programs, interpretive programs and Families in the Park. He has also organized major community events for both Grande Prairie and Red Deer including Canada Day, New Years Eve, Family Day, Sunday Concerts in the Park and many more.

Rick was assistant director for YMCA camps and camp director for a Federation of Community Leagues summer camp.  He has enjoyed the outdoors all his life and loves introducing children to the world of nature around us.

Rick brings extensive camp leadership experience, camp craft, nature interpretation, and a lot of camp focused fun. 

Leisa Olson

Leisa is a wife, mother and grandmother. She has a Level 2 certificate in Early Childhood Education and has worked with children for over 30 years in a variety of roles. The past 2 years she has supervised an Accredited School Age Program with up to 25 children ages 6 to 11. She has planned and lead a variety of activities as well as events where parents were invited to attend.

Leisa is also a certified Life Coach, author and creator of several programs for individuals, couples and families.
